Battle for the Gem

One early morning, James, the fire-breathing dragon, woke up in a bright and deep cave. It was 198 degrees, but that was normal for the Fire Land where James was born. Even though James was a gigantic dragon, only one fly was enough for him to have breakfast. Right after that, he flew out to see how his dragons were doing to make sure they were not attacked during the night. James was glad to see all of his one hundred and forty-eight dragons of The Fire Land were alive. Then he started to hunt a big dragonfly for lunch, but the dragonfly was still not bigger than him. Then he went to check on the gem. It was still there, and James was glad that no one stole it, as it gives the power to steal anybody's powers and you can turn anyone into anything. It was a usual evening, and James hunted forty-two crabs for dinner. After he cooked them with his fire breath, he checked for intruders and went to sleep. 

That was James's day-to-day schedule, until he discovered the gem had been stolen!! James was very shocked. He didn't understand how the gem had been stolen. Every day, he was checking for intruders from the tallest mountain. The gem was at the bottom of the canyon, which was also super wide, and no one would have found it. The gem was at the southeast part, the coldest place in The Fire Land, and no one could survive that cold, except the guards, who had protective suits and stayed there at night from 10:31 pm to 7:59 am. Plus, it was too tight for one dragon to open the lid to get inside. 

After thinking for a while, James sent dragons to tell Bone and Rocky about the gem. Bone and Rocky are James' fellow kings. 

Bone was born on Skull Island, a foggy place full of trees. They named it Skull Island because all the dragons that live there are bone dragons. They are really strong and flexible and have many teeth. The dragons on Skull Island are known as warrior dragons. They are great at fighting and are known for their strength. Bone is a quick learner; he trained for a long time to become a warrior. He is really good at fighting and defending. 

Rocky is from Stone Island. He can blend in with mountains and stones perfectly. He is as black as coal and has razor-sharp spikes. Stone Island is a large island with many mountains. These mountains are home to one hundred and sixty-two dragons. They live in the old caves that were formed millions of years ago.

Bone and Rocky arrived at James's cave when they heard the alarming news! They felt mad and depressed and could not believe how this had happened!!! 

At the meeting, Rocky said," I think it was the humans. ""Nah, they're not smart enough to do that," James pointed out. "Maybe it was the Evil King who did that. He is smart enough," suggested Bone. "True," agreed Rocky. "But why would he do it?!" exclaimed Rocky. "Well, in his childhood, he was mistreated. He was an orphan; his parents died in a car crash," said James. "Anyway, guys, we meet tomorrow at 9:00 in the morning to get the gem back from the Evil King. Oh, and by the way! We meet on top of the canyon where the gem was hidden".

The three dragons met at the canyon at 9:00 am the next morning. All three of them were determined and ready for the battle. The dragons faced ocean storms and heavy rain when they went to The Evil Kingdom. It took them four long hours to get there. They were exhausted when they finally reached The Kingdom. The dragons managed to land by the castle without getting spotted by the guards by coming from the back of the castle. James suggested they sneak in, but suddenly, Rocky bashed through the window!!! Then James and Bone followed Rocky. The impact caused the gem to roll out in the middle of the castle. Then Bone and The Evil King reached for the gem. The Evil King furiously grabbed the gem first. As soon as he got the gem, he blasted a ray of sunshine at the dragons, but they dodged it. 'I suggest you leave before you get hurt,' warned the Evil King. Unexpectedly for the Evil King, James blasted a ferousis fireball, knocking him out of his chair. Bone was fast to grab it. Then they used the gem's power to make the Evil King say how he stole it. He took a sigh and told them the entire story: 

'I, The Evil King, stole the gem because I flew in my swan and stole some of your dragons to tell me where the gem was. After that, I knocked out the guards and used my swan to break the lid. When I finally took the gem, I flew away with it."     

The dragons were surprised, shocked, and outraged to hear this!

Bone remembered King's awful and sad childhood and felt sorry for him. He asked James and Rocky if they approved his idea of turning the King into something else. James and Rocky said, "Just do it, man!". Bone used the gem to turn the Evil King into a kind young dragon who follows the rules. They named him Jack the Dragon. Bone also said that Jack could come to Rocky's land from now on, and he and James had already had enough action for the day. From that moment, everything went back to normal.
